First time here, I usually go to another sushi restaurant in pueblo thought i would try tsunami because of the high ratings and something different. We went in at lunch it was not busy, But still a few tables were occupied. At first the hostess was welcoming, we sat down and received our drinks promptly. Then we waited for 30 min for our server to take our order. Finally we ordered I watched my cold sushi rolls sit on a plate for 12 minutes before the cooked roll made it on the plate with the cold rolls. We ordered 4 rolls that took another 30 minutes to get to our table. The sushi was good I enjoyed it. You can taste that they have fresh fish. Presentation could use a little work. Next, change your decor! Its awful I'm not sure if its Christmas in July or valentines day, or if we are in a jungle/zen garden. The fake Roses need to go. The staff, I saw that there is a uniform code, all black. A few were dressed appropriately in clean black shirts with nice black trousers. Others were wearing workout type clothes(too tight) , a chef was wearing black sweatpants that hung past his butt. I saw mostly the servers on their phones way too much. No one seemed focus on the customers. A lady at the bar almost walked out because she waited too long for her to go order. We almost walked out because the lack of customer service. I want to come back and I will. Hopefully tsunami can fix a few things and maybe train the staff better. This is all constructive criticism, I have worked in the restaurant industry in Pueblo for 8 yrs. Doing all sorts of jobs. I only want to see pueblo restaurants doing all they can, to improve for the community and especially the people who come from outside of pueblo. Thank you for your time J. Padilla

Pretty solid place to grab sushi in town. I did see the main guy not wash his hands in the bathroom before which is a bit of a problem. Service is, at times, abysmal.

I was surprised to find a sushi place this good in Pueblo. Not to bash Pueblo, but flying in fresh fish is a chore. I've eaten at a few other sushi restaurants in town and none hold a candle to this. The portions are massive and the preparation is excellent. I ordered two rolls and learned quickly that one is more than enough per person. I travel for business and have eaten at many sushi restaurants across the Southwest. Don't let the low key interior fool you, this is a top tier restaurant and I wish I had it at home.

We return to Tsunami, again and again, any time we are in Pueblo. This last time we ordered a ridiculous amount of food just to take some home to our kids. Always a family favorite! This is best sushi in Pueblo and better than any I’ve had in Colorado Springs. I would also recommend to try a side salad with wasabi dressing, really like the dressing. Friendly service, but sometimes slow as understaffed when it gets busy.

Sushi was very fresh and presented beautifully! On the other hand the duck dumplings were over priced and not very good. Cream chesse, corn and duck not going to lie it was a huge disappointment especially for 13$. The staff was very tentative and helpful. I will definitely be back. Thanks
